About the role | Ko te kaupapa
Due to an exciting period of growth, and our commitment to connecting with the communities within which we work and live, we are now seeking an experienced Communications Advisor.
This role will lead the Communications strategy for our business and increase our capacity and capability to inform and communicate by engaging directly with the public, supporting our communications platforms (from website to social media), and guiding and supporting managers with their internal communications.

This role requires someone who can see the true benefit of delivering professional, proactive, and effective communications. You will be adept at using a variety of channels to get your messages out and tell our story.
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with local Council, media, industry, and community partners and in some instances directly with the public. Your pragmatic approach and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships will be second nature to you.
You’ll have a tertiary qualification in communications or relevant industry experience, and candidates ideally will have a background working in a contracting environment.
