About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We are on the hunt for a motivated person who takes pride in their local community and the presentation of the roads and streets in the Waimakariri District. The role entails patrolling the urban areas of the Waimak District and collecting litter and debris and cleaning any bus shelters as required. The successful applicant will be self-driven and have an eye for detail and will also be able to connect positively with their community. You will also be required to work as part of a wider team from time to time helping out other teams.
What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
- Flexibility towards working hours including weekends
- Ability to make decisions quickly where necessary
- Desire to make a difference in the community spaces we live and work in
- Physically fit and self-motivated
- Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
- Able to work as part of a team and to deadlines
