Due to an exciting period of growth, we are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to be part of our great team working on projects in the Canterbury area.
The highest priority for this role is to coordinate Traffic Management resources in response to operational needs and drive safety and compliance along with efficiency of resource. You will be responsible for supporting, coaching, and mentoring across our business and your pragmatic approach and ability to build trusting relationships will be critical to your success.
If you consider yourself to be an all-rounder who can deal with challenging opportunities, and you have the confidence to lead a team to deliver day to day and long term goals within Traffic Services, then this is an excellent opportunity to be involved with an industry leader.
What will you bring?
This role requires someone who has a minimum of 5 years of experience, an in-depth understanding of CoPTTM, and relevant Traffic Management qualifications. You will have and a proven ability to lead teams within the Traffic Services industry, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, connect the dots and be innovative in your approach.
You will take ownership of all relevant operations including third parties, ensuring that works are delivered safely and successfully by creating a team oriented and collaborative work environment with a quality and cost-effective service being delivered to our clients. Excellent interpersonal skills and a belief in the leadership role are absolutely essential.
