Come and join a stable, long term contract where you can make a difference working on the Hurunui District Council Road Maintenance network!

Due to growth on the contract this newly established position is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in roading assets to come and put their admin skills and experience to use. A day in your life could be anything from maintaining data, providing asset information to the client, assisting in collecting physical work on RAMM, analysing and reporting data and creating or investigating efficiencies in the use of RAMM – these tasks and more contribute to ensuring the safety and accessibility of the roads.

The role is predominantly office based at our Rangiora branch but there is the potential to undertake some work in the field.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

To be successful in this role you will ideally have an understanding of roading assets and be capable of using RAMM, but this is not essential as we have a team of highly skilled contract managers who can provide full support and training.

You will however need to be an administration superstar with strong computer literacy skills as well as being able to communicate clearly to the client, the public and the team. You will have experience with analysing and reporting on data and the ability to use the systems required to meet the contract’s needs.

So, if you want to be a part of delivering high quality work to the community that you live in, then we are keen to hear from you!
