We have a busy forward work program and are looking for a Water Reticulation Foreman with strong leadership skills to join our Water Services team. You will be responsible for monitoring aspects of the district’s water supply and managing the team to ensure it is operating within the required parameters.
As the leader of a water reticulation team, you will need to have good written and verbal communication skills so your crew understands their daily and weekly tasks. It is important that you are hands on and happy to mentor other team members when required.You will also have the ability to manage workload allocation and planning of forward work and will be required to assist the Reticulation Supervisor when required.
CORDE’s maintenance contract covers the entire Selwyn District from the Rakaia River to the Waimakariri River and from Arthur’s Pass village to Lake Ellesmere. Truly a spectacular and beautiful area to work in.
You will bring the following:
- National Certificate in Water Treatment – Level 4 (preferred)
- Experience leading a team within the water industry (essential)
- Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
- Experience in civil / trade work (preferred)
- Ability to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays
- Physically fit and self-motivated
- Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
