Our Parks & Reserves team in Timaru is looking for reliable and motivated Mower Operators to join their team! This role involves using a wide variety of mowers, small plant, and other equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining the equipment being used and for completing work to contract specifications on a scheduled and reactive basis.

You will be someone who enjoys the work you do and has a passion for working outdoors. You will have strong attention to detail, enjoy working independently and in a team environment, and be committed to providing a high level of service.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Full Class 2 Driver Licence (essential)
  • Qualification in Turf Management Level 3 (desirable)
  • Growsafe certificate (desirable)
  • Traffic Management – STMS (desirable)
  • Physically fit and self-motivated
  • Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
  • Able to work as part of a team and to deadlines
