We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mower Operator / General Hand to come and join our Parks & Reserves team based in Rolleston. This role involves using a wide variety of mowers, small plant, and other equipment to deliver a high standard of mowing and other activities such as turf management, line trimming, vegetation control and horticultural spraying. You will be responsible for maintaining the equipment being used and for completing work to contract specifications on a scheduled and reactive basis.

You will be someone who has an array of mowing experience and genuinely takes pride in a job well done. You will have strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a team environment, and be dedicated to providing a high level of service.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Proven experience in using a variety of mowers and small plant
  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
  • Growsafe certificate (desirable)
  • WTR endorsements (desirable)
  • Physically fit and self-motivated
  • Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
  • Able to work as part of a team and to deadlines
