This is a new leadership opportunity to develop and lead CORDE’s Traffic Management function, strengthening its role as a key partner in delivering safe, efficient, and successful projects.
As the Group Manager – Traffic Services, you’ll set the direction, structure, and performance of traffic services across the company. This includes:
- Building technical capability and high performing teams
- Developing efficient systems, processes, and commercial models
- Driving compliance with all regulatory standards
- Strengthening integration with project planning, tendering, and delivery
This role is central to CORDE’s future growth and resilience. You will strengthen the reputation and commercial performance of traffic management, while fostering trusted relationships across our divisions and with key industry, client, and regulatory stakeholders.
What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
We’re looking for a proven leader who can shape strategy and build capability in a dynamic, growth focused environment.
The experience you’ll need:
- At least 5 years’ experience managing traffic management services at regional or national level
- Strong people leadership experience in the construction or maintenance sector
- Proven background in developing services and ensuring their commercial success
- Traffic Management qualifications and a Class 1 Driver Licence
- Business Management qualifications desirable
The skills you’ll require:
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies and services
- Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management
- Confident communicator with advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Risk management expertise and ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Financial accountability, including forecasting and reporting
- Ability to foster a high performance culture, building careers and capability within the team
