We have one of the largest horizontal infrastructure teams in the South Island working in the maintenance, civil, and water industry. The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.
About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We have a busy forward work program and are looking for a skilled and experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Driver to join our Trucking division. If you have a strong background in safely operating truck and trailer units within the civil construction industry and possess a solid understanding of material types and roading aggregates, we’d love to hear from you.
In this position, you be operating a fleet of modern trucks. Activities will include Safe tipping, spreading, Jack-knifing, and stockpiling practices are essential for this role and must be able to self-load via excavator and/or wheeled loader.
The successful candidate must also be able to complete thorough plant prestart checks and keep accurate daily records.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Clean Class 5 Driver Licence (essential)
- Experience as a truck and trailer driver in the construction industry (essential)
- Road Ranger experience essential
- WTR Endorsements (beneficial)
- Physically fit and self-motivated
- Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
