About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We’re looking for an experienced Civil Carpenter with strong leadership skills to join our team in a Leading Hand – Structures role. With multiple projects underway and more coming up, this is a great chance to be part of a skilled and dynamic team, working on high-profile projects like bridges, retaining walls, and boardwalks.
You will bring experience in formwork and boxing, concrete work, as well as skilled knowledge in steelwork. You’ll also need to be confident reading and interpreting plans and have a proven background in civil building projects, preferably with bridge experience.
As a Leading Hand you will play an important role in managing and overseeing a wide range of projects. You will have experience leading and motivating a team of skilled tradespeople and labourers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

- Experience leading a team within the industry
- Class 2-4 Licence
- WTR Endorsements
- National Certificate in Carpentry (L4)
- Physically fit, reliable and self-motivated
