As CORDE continues to grow, we are seeking passionate and experienced Quality Advisors to join our team. In this key role, you will create meaningful change and improvement by strengthening internal systems and processes while driving quality excellence and fostering continuous improvement.
We currently have two exciting opportunities available in the following divisions:
- Civil Construction Division
- Maintenance Division which covers water services, parks and reserves and the Resource Recovery Park.
Whether your expertise lies in construction projects or ongoing maintenance operations, these roles focus on developing and implementing practices that ensure consistency, promote continual improvement, ensure we meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders and improve the client experience across our projects and services.
As a Quality Advisor, you will collaborate with teams across the division to provide expert advice on CORDE practices, systems, and quality standards. Your focus will be on promoting consistent approaches to enhance alignment and efficiency, driving best practices through continuous improvement of SOPs and processes, and implementing corrective actions. You will lead quality incident investigations to identify root causes and develop effective solutions, while working closely with subject matter experts to embed best practices in our processes.
What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
You will have a formal qualification or equivalent experience in either civil construction or maintenance industries, with proven expertise in auditing and investigations. You will have experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and be certified as an Internal Auditor. Additional certifications such as Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management would be advantageous.
This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools, with a solid understanding of New Zealand and international standards. You will bring strong data analysis and interpretation skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and experience in creating user-friendly systems are essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills are required to effectively engage, influence, and coach stakeholders at all levels.
