Bolt Place Car Park
The development project involved creating an asphalt car park of about 1515m3, featuring 56 car parks arranged in a one-way loop. The project also included the installation of lighting, provisions for EV charging (conduit only), a footpath leading to Argi Park, landscaping, and the construction of a soak pit for stormwater management.
The Loop Wait Zone
The new ‘Waiting Zone’ at CIAL, designed for vehicles using the Pick up/Drop off service lane known as ‘the loop’, provided approximately 70 car parks for drivers of aeroplane passengers to use for a limited time. The work involved in creating this area included extending the existing asphalt to accommodate the new parking design, creating a new entrance off Durey Road, installing a footpath, line marking for car parking and traffic flow management, adding signage, removing existing toilets and a prayer room, and making provisions for power, data, and lighting.
Commercial Vehicle Waiting Zone
Work for this section involved repairs to chip seal as required, new line marking for ride share parking and taxi traffic flow lanes, security fencing, provisions for power and data and installation of CCTV monitor screens from existing site.
