About the role | Ko te kaupapa

Come and join our dedicated team working as an operator and laborer at the Resource Recovery Park (RRP) based in Rolleston. In this varied, hands-on role, you will be responsible for both operating plant and undertaking general laboring duties to support the safe, efficient, and tidy operation of the RRP.  Your work will include operating fixed and mobile plant such as loaders, hook trucks, and mobile shredders, as well as carrying out manual tasks assisting with the day-to-day running of the facility.

We are looking for an honest, self-motivated, and conscientious person who understands current health and safety practices, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has a “hands-on” approach. What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • WTR endorsements (essential)
  • Class 4 Driver Licence (essential)
  • Forklift Endorsement & OSH Ticket (desirable)
  • Loader experience (essential)
  • Telehandler experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster which includes weekend work
  • Health and safety conscious with a positive attitude
  • Able to work as part of a team and to deadlines
