About the role | Ko te Kaupapa
We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our busy team of 3, in a role where your influence is felt throughout the business. Based at our Rolleston office and reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you’ll be part of an established P&C team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with leaders to clarify work, build career pathways and development plans so that CORDE teams can deliver for today and tomorrows challenges
- Managing complex employment relations matters end to end, investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes and grievances
- Supporting organisational change and workforce planning
- Coaching managers to build their confidence and capability in leading people
- Using people data and workforce trends to inform business decisions
- Driving continuous improvement across our people processes, policies and systems
What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Senior HR Advisor and/or aspiring to Human Resource Business Partner or newly minted as a Business Partner
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or another operational environment would be highly regarded
- Strong working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and ER best practice
- Proven experience running complex ER cases from start to finish
- The confidence to challenge and influence leaders at all levels
- Comfort with people data and HRIS systems (ELMO an advantage)
- Proven ability to show credibility, sound judgement and a down-to-earth approach to all manner of workers
- Comfortable in a site office as well as a boardroom, with clear communication and administration skills
