With summer around the corner, our team is looking for a TTM Planner responsible for the detailed design and submission of Traffic Management Plans across CORDE’s civil construction, three waters and asset maintenance work in Selwyn and South Canterbury.
About the role | Ko te kaupapa
The successful candidate will tailor plans to specific worksites and activities, assessing the risks to workers and the public, then developing the most effective controls to keep the job safe and moving. Some other responsibilities will include:
- Designing TMPs and Traffic Management Diagrams in RapidPlan for site specific and generic applications
- Undertaking preliminary site risk assessments, creating controls to recommend practicable TTM solutions
- Coordinating with STMS, Project Managers and stakeholders to finalise plans
- Making provision for vulnerable road users, environmental factors and special conditions
- Preparing supporting documentation, installation methodologies, traffic delay calculations, staging diagrams
- Monitoring the TMP request system to manage your workload and meet due dates
What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Class 1
- TTM Planning Warrant or equivalent unit standards (Desirable)
- STMS A/B/C-NP Warrants or equivalent unit standards (Desirable)
- Experience in traffic management planning or a related road safety role (Desirable)
- Proficiency with RapidPath or other traffic management design software (Desirable)
- In-depth understanding of CoPTTM and knowledge of NZGTTM and RCA approval processes
- Proficiency in RapidPlan for TMP and TMD design
- Strong technical diagram production and document preparation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability, with a proven track record of keeping multiple deadlines on track
- Clear communication, verbal and written, with everyone from crews on site to clients and the public
