About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We have a busy forward work program and are looking for a skilled Drainage Operator to come and join one of our teams. The right candidate will have experience across all areas of drainage works, including commercial and residential, excavating trenches, digging in shields and pipe laying. Day to day work will include working in a tight-knit team, operating various sized excavators and other machinery to complete the job, along with jumping in the trenches to help the team.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Minimum 5 year’s experience drainage operating
- Full Class 2 driver licence with WTR endorsements (essential)
- Proven experience working in trench shields, installing PVC and concrete pipelines
- Experienced operating excavators (3T to 20T)
- Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
- Strong knowledge of safe digging practices and underground services
- Ability to pass all pre-employment checks, physically fit and self-motivated
